    Monsoon rainfly?

Anyone try this yet? Sounds like after my conversations that this might be a new tarp. If anyone has any opinions, I'd appreciate them.

Biggest downside I see might be that it has a lot of tie outs. Not sure how it compares in weight, but not a big concern to me. I am thinking about the 70D poly.

Thanks for any opinions or suggestions in advance.

    Regards, Matt

"blast panels"--heheh--just another name for doors. Hard to tell from the pictures, but looks like they might be velcro'd to tarp.
I have not seen one in person, so I shall not further speculate.

I can just about promise you they will be on display at the HH booth at Trail Days.

    Only a week away!

I'll be sure to take some pictures of the new tarps and get some dimensions too.

    Hi Wes,

We just got our new website up so we're still finding a few bits of missing info and a few glitches. We will try and get the dimension of the Monsoon up up today. What you are not seeing is the difference between the fly in dimensions. The 70D Hex Fly is 144''x 115''. The Monsoon is closer to 110''x 70''. I'll have the exact numbers quite soon.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Best regards,

    James

I spoke to James at HH today and he was able to answer the questions I had left yesterday with someone else. I was satisfied and decided to try the monsoon along with the snakeskins, and double bubble pad. We'll see how it all works out. I'll post up after I receive it and have a chance to digest pro's and con's as I see them.
