wabby and Tex, I tried to refrain from showing everything since this was a recon mission for the Colorado Summer Hang.
I hope I did not spoil any of the discovery for you or the others planning to attend.

I'm glad you guys could get up there. We still have roads closed and muddy trails. Looks like a great teaser to me. I am looking forward to the summer hang trip report.

I know what you mean. Very late Spring warmup.
Everything out here is open and dry to about 9300ft.

Although we were able to scout the first 4-5 miles from the campground at 10,000 ft to 11,200 feet the rest of the 27 mile trail is unknown.
Will there be shaded areas with snow drifts?
Will there be North facing slopes that the sun does not get to?

With only 19 days to go I am hopeful these 85 degree days are doing their job.
