It must be full Moon madness....

But I was drawn to the woods the water and the night, so it started......Load kayaks on truck, go to Gander Mountain to get foodstuffs. Drive to waters edge and load. Wait till dark and shove off to find a peaceful cove and await the great pumpkin, no wrong time of year, to seek out the rising Moon. As always, bobbing on the water in silence except for the sounds of nature was just what any doctor would order to ease one's day. Short of it was, it was wonderful, the Moon parted the tree tops as scheduled. Then a few hours of paddling later we hung in the pines and ash trees with a little camp fire to keep the chill off till we finished dinner and retired for the night. With no signs of rain we went sans tarp and got to watch the moon through the canopy. All went well. Next full moon is Friday * 15th July 2011 * 02:39:36 am (EDT) enjoy.
Whether trail or paddle don't you know
My hammock is the way to go
There peace and solitude I find
To ease all troubles from my mind
Both body and soul revel in delight
As day surrenders to inky night

Sounds very peaceful. Thanks for posting that. Would love to see full moon pics over the water, but fully understand if no technology was present. In this case, imho, no pics necessary.
