    Howdy from a Colorado Newbie

After watching most of Shug's hammock videos on YT I decided the next logical step would be to drop by and introduce myself and further bolster my knowledge base.

Hi, my name is Dave and I'm not a Hammock-junkie...YET!

I'll likely get some ripstop from a local vendor and go the DIY route first though I'm having trouble getting my mind off the WBBB. I'm a side-sleeper and believe it might just give me the best nights sleep. Until then I'm going to minimize my investment and see what this "hangin' stuff" is all about!

    Looking forward to meeting everyone!

    Hi rhinoman,
Welcome from another Denver hammock hanger.

Welcome to the forum! The DIY route is definately an inexpensive way to go (or can be if you want it to be)--a TON of info in the DIY forums to get you going.

A lot of folks like the WBBB, so if you get a chance to connect with someone who's got one, give it a test drive and see what you think... I've yet to try it out, but that's only because I know I'll want one

Again, welcome to the friendliest forum on the web--hope to hear all about your future adventures.
You're gonna need a bigger hammock

Welcome to HF from Canada! Can't go wrong with a WBBB. Lots of choices though so have fun.

Welcome! I just joined about a month or so ago as well. I made my first DIY hammock yesterday in 1.5 hours start to hang. It was pretty simple once I got my head around everything and it only took about $20 bucks out of my pocket.

    I love it!

I am planning several addons/improvements as we speak.

I am no expert but I might can help you get started a little bit...

PM me if you have any questions!
or you can ask them here...

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I'm looking forward to my first "hang" and learning a bunch more about the inner workings of the addiction!
