    Newbee with no hammock

Hello, This is my first try at posting here. Not real sure of this. I am looking to buy my first hammock shortly. I found the Hennesy first, but upon looking for others I came across the Warbirds. I now think Hennesy's are nice, but I think the bottom entry is a little odd. Any opinions out there? Dougyster

They make top and bottom entry hennessys. However there are more options than you are considering but both are good.

or you could always build one yourself and make it exactly how you would like it! ;o)
sounds scary at first but it is pretty easy... I build my first hammock yesterday and from start to hanging it took me about 1.5 hours and only cost about $20

I am now looking to add a bugnet and a weathershield and build my own tarp!

    Welcome!
All I can and will suggest is using YouTube and hammock forums as research tools for making you purchase! Both will help you immensely with your decision.
There are many different hammock companies out there and each have different pros and cons with their gear and how it may be suited to your needs!
GOOD LUCK, but most importantly - Have FUN!!!!!!

Welcome to HF from Bama............you are now on a quest that will take you to many wonderful places and will allow you to see and try many amazing things. Before you buy anything look at the DIY route to see if you like the hammock for camping. Next see if you can make a local or regional group hang and try all of the different hammocks there. Good luck and happing hammock hunting!!!!!!!!

Welcome Dougyster! me and my friend went camping last week and being on the ground provided a rough night but there were 5 hangers there and all of them had a great night sleep so we decided to order hammocks. He talked me into the WBBB since they are arguably the best out there. I'm still waiting on it but the more research I do the happier I am that he talked me into the WBBB. I'm digging all the bells and whistles on that thing.
Good luck with your decision and check out some of the YouTube comparisons, that helped me with my decision.
