Hiked from Gravel Springs to Pass Mt. Set up, read a book, took a nap, enjoyed the afternoon, excellent nights sleep, hiked back the next day. Peaceful trip. Doesn't get much better, for me anyway.

The deer in Shenandoah are very accustomed to people. She stepped about 4ft off the trail and stood there while I hiked by. Not an unusual occurrence within the park. To me, she seemed like she was showing off for the camera!Originally Posted by Eliteoomph
