19.3 Kg with food and water !
    Thats UL in winter time

But to my defense my list included ski and pulk eq.

I had to check my weight with No pulk/skis and no food/water
    15.4 Kg (theoretical)

But the truth is that i gained another 600 gr today.
I bought me some ski poles !

Winter camping is bulky, really bulky.
So what are your thoughts here Hank ?
    • Are you gonna use a Pulk ?
    • Are you gonna use skis ?

If you gonna use a pulk, just add a lightweight trunk too put stuff in.
Maybe Santa can lend you one ?

Since i will bring this one to SKAHOw 2012.

Maybe this one will be feeling lonely

(Thats including food and 3 L of water)

I had some space issues though, i have a 75 L backpack and i feel
that i need to buy a new one @ 100 L or so for winter adventures
for future use. Dont think i can solve that problem for this trip

I guess iīll have to start to strap things on the outside...
Like my shovel and extra boots and whatnot ^^

    The Muddus song....

I met a really nice guy yesterday and he sang me a song.
Iīm sorry I didnīt had the oppurtunity to record it but the lyrics went something like this:

"We got married in a fever, hotter than a pepper sprout,
We've been talkin' 'bout Muddus, ever since the fire went out.
I'm goin' to Muddus, I'm gonna mess around,
    Yeah, I'm goin' to Muddus,
    Look out Muddus town.

Well, go on down to Muddus; go ahead and wreck your health.
Go play your hand you big-talkin' man, make a big fool of yourself,
Yeah, go to Muddus; go comb your hair!
    Honey, I'm gonna snowball Muddus.
    See if I care.

When I breeze into that city, people gonna stoop and bow. (Hah!)
All them women gonna make me, teach 'em what they don't know how,
I'm goin' to Muddus, you turn-a loose-a my coat.
    'Cos I'm goin' to Muddus.
    "Goodbye," that's all she wrote.

But they'll laugh at you in Muddus, and I'll be dancin' on a Pony Keg.
They'll lead you 'round town like a scalded hound,
With your tail tucked between your legs,
Yeah, go to Muddus, you big-talkin' man.
And I'll be waitin' in Muddus, behind my Jaypan Fan,

Well now, we got married in a fever, hotter than a pepper Sprout,
We've been talkin' 'bout Muddus, ever since the fire went.
I'm goin' to Muddus, and that's a fact.
Yeah, we're goin' to Muddus, ain't never comin' back.

Well, we got married in a fever, hotter than a pepper sprout'
And we've been talkin' 'bout Muddus, ever since the fire went..."

I donīt remember the guys name but he had a really great voice and his lastname had something to do with money.........

All this makes me a bit confused !
I have always thought Muddus was some sort Nature Reserve or something ?
But this sounds like a red light district somewhere ?
    Is it "money brothers" ?

Ps, I think i will go to Jackson instead

I slept in my hammock last night at my attic !
1C outdoors and 4C on the attic.

The purpose was to test nesting the IX UQ with WB Winter Yeti, it worked great.
No need for a foot pad .

I went to bed with a WM Caribou (+2C),
but feelt a bit cold in the middle of the night,
so put on a Golite Ultra as well !
    I was snug after that

I am not really that tired, it's flash hurting my eyes.

I think that the red light district is pretty close to our safehouse!

I have converted the RT90 coordinates to WGS84:
    Latitud : 66° 55′ 32,44″
    Longitud: 20° 6′ 40,62″

And that seems right if you compare it to your red dot ?

My inside informer misunderstood me (how is that possible?).
There is a parking lot open about 1km away from Hapsasjaure so we can use that instead. Hopefully we can ski on the road from the parking lot to Hapsasjaure.
Hapsasjaure is that option 1 or option 2 ?
And where is this open parking lot, 1 km to the left or right of Hapsasjaure ?
