    Camping Trip

So, took a buddy fishing this past weekend. Got to Big Twin Campground in Winthrop, Washington. Put up the hammocks. Over 20 campsites available.

Within 10 minutes the proprietor comes by and asks which campsite were in and that my car is not properly parked in the correct campsite (it was backed up to the table)... He tells me to move it and take the hammocks down as they're damaging his trees. I start to explain LNT. He tells me to go !@#$%! I moved my car 10' and put it where my hammocks were (backed up to the table).

We left the next morning, "shaking the dust from our feet".

We stayed in a state campground in Dry Falls. Beautiful and I slept out in my ENO. But mosquitos were ferocious and I'm alergic. I retreated to the tent the next night. I can't wait for my Warbonnet mosquito net to come and try again!

See the photos of the campground and Dry Falls.

I use an Outcast Fat Cat, which is similar to the one shown (the one shown has a 8" thick foam seat and seat back, which means that it doesn't shrink down). I have a better one than the one shown, which uses inflatable seat & back. My friend (in the photo) wished that he had purchased the same one as I have:

I go out to Greenwater area, Forrest Service Rd 72. You can get way back in the mountains from there. Many, many FS roads to explore. I never had any trouble with campsite monitors, because it is national forrest, not campsites where you pay. If you would like more details, PM me.
