I totally agree! All this glad handing about new gear is getting ridiculous, that is why I promise when I get my new cuben tarp in the mail I won't mention it. And when I take my new cuben tarp out in the piney woods I won't mention it. And when I'm hiking and meet total strangers with my new cuben tarp I bought at trail days from Brian I won't even mention it then.

And after my first trip with my new cuben tarp into the red river gorge I won't answer questions about my new cuben tarp hanging over my blackbird hammock. Naw, not even after the trip and I'm sitting on the bench with my new cuben tarp at Miguel's eating his world famous pizza. I only hope I don't get grease on my new cuben tarp from the pizza. Probably the words NEW Cuben tarp will never pass my lips in my lifetime. I am so happy I am not going to mention my new Cuben tarp!

Joy over little things, even the mundane, is sacred. I like that folks get so excited.

Mine does such a nice job rocking me and soothing me to sleep. What I don't like about it is that it won't ever wake me up. I have to rely on friends and family for that.

Purchasing a WBBB is awesome. Recieving it is more awesome. Sleeping in it....IS EPIC!

That's what happened to me on June 9th and I received the notice today that it is on the way . I'll try to contain my excitement when I post pictures and a review but I'm not making any promises.

If it helps, I really want a eno double to try out. I like my friends single. It hugs you like no other hammock I've tried

Aside from all the glorious features, a blackbird lays like a traveler (simplified, open gathered end hammock), which the best part is the width for comfortability, your eno has all that. The glory that is the blackbird that sets it apart is all the features, the glory of all hammocks, mostly, is that they're comfortable. So you're only missing out on convienent features.

Us DIYers not only announce to the world every time we create a new piece of gear, we post step by step detailed photographs and sometimes even video. These WBBB people are tame, comparatively.
