Decided a little larger tarp would be nice to cover gear and have sitting area, etc. Looking forward to getting it in putting it through it's paces. Should be a nice addition to my Blackbird which is first class!

great choice
Dale Gribble: I'm thinking, "new hammock." For me, laying and swaying in a hammock is like a steady morphine drip without the risk of renal failure.
Randy : yea but just remember yer roots and where ya come from....you got Hennessy in yer blood son......
I agree, great choice! mine should arrive any day now....
I am jealous. I want one too. Oh well fathers day is close.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
I've got one but have not used it yet and am bringing my Speer Winter Tarp on my 11 day canoe trip starting tomorrow. I need to put some time into the Superfly to outfit it with cords and suspension lines.
I received my superfly (not camo) the otherday and now I am kind of wishing I got the camo...
I think you will like it

Covert delivery by USPS today delivered a tiny box with a tiny 19oz package inside. Man, that digital camo is beautiful....better looking in person than pictures can represent. May try to get it up with some air under it one evening this week.
Love how small of a package the tarp is!
Should be a a great combination with the Blackbird!
It's an awesome tarp. HUGE! I gave mine a test on Saturday night. It was raining quite a bit, and not a drop got through to my hammock. Don't forget to seam seal your panel pull outs.
Mine just showed up get to set it up after work!!
Finally got it up today. Really well proportioned. I was a little disappointed to find it didn't have the shockcord and cordlocks shown in the video for the doors. I emailed Brandon and he said that was only for added doors for the old Superfly.
Here are few pics:
First time I remembered to try the BB with the bug netting tied back. Worked well like this and as a lounger.
And finally, what is really important:
He is ready to go with Daddy!
