    Vermont Army/Navy closeouts

I bought some fabric from these guys last year and made a real nice hammock from it. I used the digital nylon (not ripstop). It's a pretty heavy feeling material but not heavy in weight. Anyway, they are blowing out all of their nylon including a digital camo ripstop. I just ordered 5 yards of black, OD and woodland camo. Only catch is the shipping is kind of high, for my 15 yards it's $17. You cave some bucks if you take their survey, 10% off.

    Thumbs up

Thanks for the notice. Very valuable. That's quite a variety of nylons to choose from.

Do you have any idea what the weight of this fabric is? All I am seeing is medium or light weight.

Got my order today, the Woodland Camo Nylon cloth was just what I wanted, should make a decent hanger. It's nylon but not ripstop. Wish I had ordered a bunch more. However, the Olive Drab and Black Nylon Fabric was not what I wanted. This stuff is super heavy and has some kind of coating on one side. Looks like it would make excellent ground tarps, or a really heavy hammock. Note the only difference in the wording is "fabric" vs. "cloth". Dunno what weight this stuff is, I would guess the camo is 1.9 oz or a little less.

Any suggestion on what to do with 20 yards of "fabric"?
