Looking for rope vendors.

Where are some places to buy Amsteel and Dynaglide rope? Did a search for Amsteel and the only one I saw was Reddon Marine, was hoping for something on east side of the country.

i dont know of any place on the east coast. Some boat stores may have it. I ordered mine from redden the first time. it was 5$ to ship and it came in 2 days. so it wasnt that bad. I order my amsteel now from Paul at http://arrowheadequipment.webs.com/

Hey there....go under Hammock Gear - Manufacturers and Services "Other Vendors and Services" on here ...down from General Hammock Talk and you will see Amsteel House. They give a discount to HF members.
Not East Coast but quick service.

West Marine has a selection of Samson Amsteel. They offer free shipping to their stores for pickup.

I ordered 200 feet on Wednesday from Redden and it was in the mail in Georgia on friday. Thats worth 5 bucks to me.

West Marine has stores around the country. They will price match. Just give them the URL for Redden.
If you haven't seen and handled a variety of cord and rope, a visit to a bricks and mortar store can be instructive.
