Happy Father's Day to you too Cranky Bear and to all the other Dad's out there as well. Being a father has been the most rewarding experience of my life - I couldn't ask for a better family, I have truly been blessed.

Thanks, and more of the same. I've got 6 at home and love all the noise, commotion, and funny things that go with that--I even love the big family van. Got to hang with the family on a Friday night campout... the Sierra National Forest will never be the same.

Ahhh, coffee and breakfast in bed from my daughter and lounged around. Now time to get to work on my DIY bugnet. It may be needed next weekend.

Happy Fathers Day to all of the HF communitie's dads!!!!! I had the pleasure of my child making me breakfast and waking me up with "I love you daddy, Happy Fathers day!" Now for a day of lounging around until my Father gets here and we make him dinner............

I had a breakfast of Nutella on toast and bacon with my daughter this morning...it does a body good.

A day late but y'all will understand. I had my retirement party Saturday (it's official now!!!) and did up 5 tri tips...yup I said 5 (had a crew over). Sunday afternoon I am laid up in the Traveler under the shade and Judy arrives and places chips and dip (Ranch dressing and avacado ) on the ice chest beside my hammock. Did I mention the ice chest was still stocked with sweet tea etc?

She returns to the home and comes out with three tri tip samiches and my son. They take chairs and I lounge in the Traveler to enjoy the feast as we visit. Then Matt (my baby boy...26) and I go to ****'s Sporting Goods to find Sawyers Permethrin. We exit with that and a camp stool on Matt's dime. Spent the afternoon treating my hammocks and a pair of class c uniform pants that will be used for brush popping trout fishing.

Hope your day was just as pleasant...it don't get any better than mine though.
