I received an order today from Mountainfitter/Lawson Outdoor and really like the Reflective Glowire.

What really impressed me though was the 4oz fuel bottles that don't leak when squeezed. I've been disappointed more then once with bottles from other vendors.

    Thanks Lawson.

    Hi Dave,

More will be instock in 7-10 days. Once I get a UPS/Fedex tracking notice, I will make the cord available on my website for backorders and give an estimated ship date. Hope that works

    Thanks,
    Lawson

I had almost forgot about the Posties going on strike (lockout). Here I am wishing I was home, wondering how my life will change when I move North again.

In a thread I'm still looking for, I praised this stuff for daytime brightness, but questioned, the value of the reflective thread from trial in my living room at night, after turning off the lights turned.

Wow, was I wrong. And wrong to suggest that a photo exagerated the glow.

I finally used it last night outdoors. This stuff appears to the eye, at night, as bright as a no-expense-spared set of landing-strip lights.

I just put a length of it in a very dark room and tried to get the same effect. A dud, again.

So, there is something wonderfully bio-designed about this stuff. It is engineered, I think, to utilize what the eye-brain does once adapted to the night, pupils opening up. Man, those 3M scientists and engineers: this cord is designed for night-vision.

Its got a fantastic tensil strenth as well...I used it testing out portable hammock stand I built yesterday with boom stakes on it single strand,,and not one stitch showed any signs of fatigue or stress yet,,will take a nap today outside using it again in the portable stand,,and see how it keeps holding. I really can't see any complaints about the stuff as for the buck,,alot of bang!

Not being familiar with anything but the stuff sold at the Home Improvement stores I'll have to ask. Does this cord hold a prussik or tautline hitch well?
