    HH Explorer with side zip

Does anyone know how far along the one side the zipper extends on the Explorer Deluxe with side zip? It doesn't really state that on the Hennessy site.

Assuming it is the same design as the Deep Jungle and Deep Winter hammocks, it goes end to end.
    Trust nobody!

Same for the Backpacker -- end to end. I would be surprised if it was different than these.

Thanks. Just wanted to be certain before ordering one. The web site doesn't specifically state the dimensions of the zip ;-)

I would suggest sending it to 2qzq and let them replace the HH zipper. the zipper that comes on the HH now is huge and looks heavy. 2qzq you cant go wrong with their zipper mod. or better yet see if you can get the hh without the zipper then just send it off to 2qzq.

Thanks for all the info, everyone. Not sure what way to go just yet. However, I am leaning toward buying the Explorer with zip from HH just for convenience sake, unless someone knows of some good structural or quality issue as to why I should not.

ZQ here...we wouldn't replace the existing zipper....just add one to the other side to make it our Mod#4. If you wanted to have the velcro bottom entry along with the top loading capability....buy the bottom entry, and when convenient for you, send it to us to install a zipper on one or both sides.

Edit...I just noticed....this is an old thread!
