Well its official I will be unable to make this hang. My car decided that it didn't like the coolant I was using and sprung a leak at the water pump, a $700 repair job. That's pretty much my camping and gear budget for the rest of the year. Guess I'll have to settle for staying local till the spring.

It looks like Flamingo will not be coming with me... however, my Air Force son will be home on leave and has expressed an interest in joining us. The kicker is he will need a set up. I've got a no net he could use if the bugs will be gone by then. Otherwise I'll have to do something for a hammock and insulation. I am reasonably sure someone who will be there can help me out. I think I can find a tarp in the locker to use.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

I'm new to the forum and live five minuts away it would be cool to stop out and check out the different gear.
A friend & I are going to mtn. bike part of the Great Allegheny Passage the week leading up to the MAHHA hang.If all goes well. He doesn't hang but he's not anti-hanging either.
Maybe some C&O Canal on friday or saturday.
Jacks 'R' Better will host the semi annual MAHHA gear raffle again this Fall.
Same great prizes, same rules and same beneficiaries....Same cost to play.
Any other vendors attending are welcome to contribute gear as are individuals who wish to donate new or nearly new items.
Raffle tickets are $10 each... The drawing is after the Saturday Cook out/gathering... Lots of prizes.... ask the old timers...Choices abound also.
Procedes pay for the pavillion rental, the meat, the charcoal, drinks and ice...
Everthing after that is donated to HF/WB and the ATC...
Lots of fun... Eliminates fees for the hang...And our community at HF/WB and the ATC wins big!
Let's see... where did that grand prize quilt go... hmmmm, maybe some special prototypes.... Think I saw yet one more of those rare Python Skins somewhere, guess i'll take another look...

PS I'm probable comming by motor cycle so please don't ask me to bring any gear for sale/delivery...I'm sure that you would not like to explain to the whole gang why you got free delivery so the prizes were left home for lack of space............
Ounces to Grams.
