    New machine and high hopes!!

Here is my new 1957 Kenmore(made by Gritzner germany) I picked the cabinet and machine up for $10. I am going to have a go at making one of HPPYFNGY's tarps this weekend. Any advice or comments on the machine welcome. Its pretty heavy duty, I ruined 2 modern machines making cordura fitted gaiters a few years back so I went for the old bomber hoping for the best!!

Should be bomb proof but it may need servicing. Probably worth the cost for the price you paid for it.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

Thats a beauty. I almost bought an old kenmore in missouri last week, but I wasn't sure how the friction wheel drive would hold up.
An emergency of my own making...is still an emergency.
