    Reverse cut Incubator

My BB is a reverse cut, foot box on left. So I was wondering if anyone has had a Incubator made this way, Stormcrow?

I think the Incubator works either way. I don't think it's made for a particular hammock or footbox configuration. I use mine with a Trek Light double, and it seems to stay in place whichever way I lay in it.

The incubator should work on either a lefty or righty foot box. It is the same width at the foot end so it should not matter which way you lay. I can attest to this because I lay lefty and righty in my WB Traveler and the Incubator has never failed me.

What everyone else said. There are such a wide range of hammocks out there that we decided long ago to go with a symmetrical design for all of our quilts. The same will be for the hammock when we finally get THAT boat in the water....I are a big fan of being able to sleep on whichever side I feel like at the time with the same degree of comfort.

    Oh? Do tell please...

My Incubator fits both sides of my Traveler and BB with no difference. There is a head end and foot end that I have not been able to sort out well yet though.

Regarding symmetrical designs and the most recent design of the Incubator....

I suppose I stand corrected. The Incubator DOES have a head and foot end. That is because the lower half and upper half of the body curve inverse to each other. Think Craftmatic Beds. The Incubator is designed to keep the full length quilt up against the body of the hammock user more efficiently. Since the quilt is very easily removed, the head and foot end can be switched around if the hammock user decides they want to face that morning sunrise...

i would think it would make more sense to have more down in the torso area of the incubator too. considering it's where all our major organs are. but who knows

Errr did not mean to correct......please don't beam me up.

You posted the way to tell the Incubator foot end from head end once and I can't find it. Would you mind Adam?
