Thanks For sharing! Looks like the trail is well maitained from the spots you showed. Glad your gear worked out for you cept' the blasted battery fiasco! Loved seeing all those ferns!

Thanks! It was really beautiful and I just don't get the ferns like that in the part of Georgia where I live.

Man, nothing like pulling out your camera for the first time and thinking, "This thing seems awfully light. . ."
