    50 Mile Charity Hike... Lets Go!

    Hey guys,

    My head is freshly shaved, my pack is fully packed at a total weight of 24lbs for the 5 day trip (some last minute adds DOH!) and my mother really tried to kill me the past 2 days with lifting various HEAVY furniture items up and down stairs. Literally just finished moving stuff at 730pm EST.

    I’m heading out for the 53.2 mile charity hike tomorrow morning. Thanks again for those that helped me get this far as far as charitable donations. I was able to raise $1,465.00 for www.strengthforlifeny.org in which $300 of that goes towards the Appalachian Trail Conservancy!
