I think it's a recent addition.
This is the suspension I use, poly webbing tree straps and 1/8 woopieslings. I weigh 280. I used 7/64 woopieslings for a couple hangs but they started looking stressed so I made the 1/8 ones. From what I have read here it is normal for the Amsteel to look stressed and stretched where the bury goes in but I sleep better knowing I have the 1/8.
My current diy hammock is 200d, coated. I put the coating inside. I got it for 2? dollars a yard, as a blem. There was a long overlap on the coating, running lengthwise to the roll. I love it. I have yet to sleep overnight in it, my GF get's mad at the suggestion I make her sleep alone, while I am home. I have a zippered bugnet, I will try to see if condensation is an issue. Anyway, I would recommend the 200d. Feels very solid.
An emergency of my own making...is still an emergency.
Yup. But I threw caution to the wind.
Seriously, I hate mosquito's. Worth the discomfort to me, and it won't be the last one I make. The 200d is great, though.
