Hi,
I usually post most of the time only winter images. But here is something from yesterday. Canoe trip, place is about 20 km from my home town Kuopio. I just walked to the lakeside with my canoe and canoe cart and paddled away. Sometimes there is no need to go far to find good places for hanging.
WBBB 1.9 DL, Full sized 14 mm thick closed cell pad between layers and Warbonnet Black Mamba TQ. I think nowadays that closed cell pad is most reliable, lightest, multipurpose and simply the best under insulation solution. Only if there is a threat of ground sleeping I will take my air mattress with me. And of course in winter time I add winter yeti to the set-up.
Tarp is WB Edge. When properly aligned with the hammock it will keep you dry even when hanged this high, I have survived 35 degree rain with this kind of set up. I do not use those add in doors anymore, they weight as much as tarp itself, so bigger tarp is better idea IMHO.
Oh, and I almost forgot the picture....
