    This thread and the YouTube vids helped in my selection of the 'Old Man Winter' as my winter/storm tarp. I purchased the 144" ridge line and the velcro doors. I can't wait to recover it and break it in. Thanks for the thread gentlemen.

    Would velcro be worth it on the doors or just hook them to the pull outs?

    All my WL tarps have no velcro and I prefer no velcro.

    I'm with flatline, I'm sure it's cool but I don't feel it necessary but again I've never hung during a snow storm or anything like that so I don't know.

    Ditto on no velcro. Tends to stick to things you don't want it to.

    Going on two group hangs soon and the wife insist that she gets to use the OMW tarp.

    Just wish I had the $$ to get a new one in one of the other colors they now come in.
