    Previewed it a little while ago. Looks good. Still disappointed nobody went under

    Was perhaps 20 yards of delicate balancing on top of the dam required. The approach to that part, and new boardwalk.

    We had to wade through at least 16 inches of water. If you go down, well, it looked pretty deep on both the approach to the dam and below it.

    Thanks for the tips. I'll be bringing extra socks for sure. I backpacked Dolly Sods a month back and had the same wet conditions. We even had to tip toe across a beaver dam. I got stuck behind a little heavier dude and each step he took more water started rushing over the dam.

    You might also consider taking Hydropel Sports Ointment for "pretreating" your feet each day if you are expecting wet conditions. It will work to prevent "prune feet" if your feet stay wet during the day.
