The HH Safari and the Clark, along with the WB Black Bird are all excellent selections for a big guy _if_ you want to move to an integrated bug net. If you don't need the integrated bug net and you like the ENO single... I say stay with the known commodity and move to the doublenest. All typical disclaimers apply.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

I'm about 6'3 and 74kg (yeah aussie weights), although i'm not as tall or heavy my Hennessy deep jungle long has more than enough room, to the point i wonder if i would of fitted in the smaller model! specs according to site:
    Height limit: 7' tall / 213 cm

    Weight limit: 300 lbs / 136 kg

    +1 on the Deep Jungle.

6'4" and 95kg and not a problem. Not sure about the rating on the hammock though - I've seen the XL version rated at 300lb in the blurb but sometimes shown as 250lb!? HH site is a strange beastie at times!

Taffeta is a very robust fabric and IMO ideally suited for hammocks.
See, this just goes to show that I'm a newb and don't have a clue what I'm talking about lol. Thanks for the info brother!

I wanted to go the DIY route but I just don't have the equiptment to pull it off. Maybe one of these days when I get a sewing machine i'll take a crack at it.

I ended up getting the suspension kit off Jack's R Better, I'm really loving the whoopie slings and dutch biners. And I bought an XL model from Hammock Planet. It's really nice, although I expected it to be alittle longer, and it's the same length as my ENO single, but it is about 2 1/2 feet wider.

all in all I'm pretty happy with my set up now. All I need now is a decent tarp that doesn't weigh a ton lol!

A friend of min is 6'7" and 250ish and uses a Hammock Bliss single and it works fine for him. I am a 6'2" and 300 on a big frame and the ENO double nest is very comfortable for me.
