That really is a nice stand. The one I am going to build from threaded pipe this week will not look nearly as nice but a similar design.
My two granddaughters have been spending alot of time in my hammock. So I'm thinking of two more smaller, lighter stands out of wood for them. Then I notice the childs swing set in the backyard, it might work, they're 7 & 11 both well under 100#s. Time to go scrounging. Oh, and my wife is concerned about me spreading the addiction.

Looks like a great stand, but it's not for me. I'm against the whole moveable stand on the floor. My thought about the hammock in my "bedroom" is that when I put the hammock away the area is free.
If the hammock is rocking, don't come knocking
