To me, loons are a special creature. I love listening to their calls.
Couldn't agree more! They have a tranquil calm yet inquisitive nature. Or… at least they do if you don’t accidently get to close to their young, I did apologize for the intrusion. Since the male saw us off at 6am Monday morning, I assume there were no hard feelings?

I'm trying brother. Schedule for the fall is up in the air since we are so short staffed.

    Great shots, [o]TTeR.

How long did it take to get the close up of that dragonfly? I noticed the well placed Coffee Crisp in your hammock.

Bon Echo is a great place to camp. I just can't decide if I would rather paddle or hike. It seems it is becoming a recurring theme that Ontario Hangers get to really test their wet weather hanging abilities.

I also see that Master Chef Ryvr was in fine form with another back country gourmet meal. Were there any new inspired culinary creations like the Wienie Wellingtons?

    Cheers

Thanks, "Paddlers in the fog" was a gift on the way out, I held back to swing around the island in search of a Grey Heron ( turned out to be a bird shaped rock ) and caught the group paddling out from across the channel. The shot is on my print list for a 16"x20".

The Dragonfly was a shot of opportunity, Odd Duck pointed it out and it was a “turn-n-click”, 300mm from 5 feet away (no Macro) just luck Mate!

Nothing like a subtle product placement, but you know me… can’t leave subtle alone!
