Pete, hit the garage sales...it's pretty easy to find worthless tents that can be canibalized for parts. I saw one in a dumpster at the Big Thicket, but my stomach wasn't strong enough to go in after it.

Might have to raid my 3 man tent to see if the poles would work without modifying them.

If you have tieout loops at the corners of your tarp, you can stick a minibiner into the end of a pole, and bungee that to the tieout.
