    Hammocks and fireworks

I am not sure if this is the proper place to put this thread but wanted to talk about our trip to watch the firework celebration. We all loaded up and drove to Johnson City Tn for the big show with the inlaws and while laying in the grass on a blanket realized that my Land Rover was parked perfect distance to a lone tree.. so I decided to string up the DIY hammock I keep in my truck... needless to say it was the best and most comfortable fireworks EVER.... hope everyone has a great 4th weekend..

Great idea for a relaxing hang and I'm glad you enjoyed yourself.

Did anyong in your family want to try the hammock out?

Just don't light any fireworks in yor hammock - especially if it has an attached bug net!

Love going to fireworks. Didn't have a hammock with me last night, but I did bring a camera. Here's a couple that worked out pretty well.

We went to the town commons park for fireworks, and I took my hammock just in case. No trees close by enough for me to set up, but when I went to buy a snowcone, I noticed three ENO double nests setup like bunkbeds, with 2 on the bottom, and 1 over top of them. all were tied to the same tree on one end, and diff branches of another tree on the other end. Since our local Rei type place started selling them, the college kids have been making them really populer. You see pictures of the park all the time in the newspaper, and in nearly every one of them there is some one in the pic hanging there.
