Yeah my chili-mac did my buddy john in something fierce..... yeah we hit that ledge right after the lemon squeezer, had to strip my pack for that one had me way off balance. but it had a nice ledge that we hung out on for a while....great trip with good guys.....glad i got the all clear after the concussion incident to go....already planning the next trip from lake tiorati to bear mountain inn...then mount marcy in sept....need some serious mods on my hammock though cause it got cold with just an over quilt!!!! thanks agian for the great videos and gear lists.....much appreciated. hey got a question for you....i saw your 'Water Monkey" flag.....where did you find a place that made that one? looking to get one for my cousin for his birthday in sept.

Give Barbara an email she is real easy to work with if you give her a month prep ahead of time.

For the summer I still use my underquilt. I would suggest to save money to possibly get the Gossamer Gear Thinlinght 1/4" wide pad. That will keep your backside from freezing and there is not much of a weight penalty.
