    Bless you, Hammock Forums

I've been out of circulation since I was in a car accident last year, but I finally got out and tested some of my gear. I cannot find enough ways to thank the people who keep this forum going for inventing ways to make hammock camping (I actually also sleep in a hammock at home) more comfortable and sharing your information.

So - here's my feedback on my delightful 6-day trek in a place I've been looking to get back to for a long time - with hot links to everyone who has enhanced my hammock experience (and I know I owe more of you a shout out):

Glad you're back JJ. Sorry to hear about the car accident. Just thought ou weren't doing the hammock thing anymore.

Funny side note. You and I corresponded quite a while back when you were selling a Speer. I ended up not pulling the trigger and someone else bought it. Wouldn't you know when he went to sell it I ended up buying it. At least I think it's the same hammock.

A very nice trip report. You are very talented and I'll bet you even write poetry.

Thanks for all your comments. Wiggs - if you find yourself on the East Coast let me know. Once I get through school, who knows - I may find myself traveling. Ron, that's so funny about the hammock - sort of a six degrees of separation thing. Yes, Veto 65 I do write poetry - some of which I have posted on my website.

I'll be checking in when I need a break from homework - which I have already received even though school has not yet started.

    Enjoy your treks.

That is a beautiful story JJ. You made it come to life. One of the few times that pictures weren't really necessary.
