I read a blurb about the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in MN as THE spot to experience Aurora Borealis during the equinox (9/22). Does anyone know about this? I would love to get my brothers up there for a birthday trip!

Not so sure...but if you heard that, this is definitely the year you will spot them. I heard the suns activity has went way up this year. I hope to see it in my Maine town. I hope I am not too far south. Heard of people seeing it there before, this may be my year too! Woot!

This may sound like bs but I swear I saw the NL driving through Arizona late one night. Three other friends with me. Blew my mind.
