Glad to see you have your priorities in good order, Carver!

Steaks were on point- man I bet that butter really made 'em good! Nice video!

Nice video. Steak looks perfect. Like the coffee press idea. Thanks.

Great video!! I like the improvised coffee press. Good thinking on that one. Looks like you make a mean steak! I was drooling a bit watching!

Always nice seeing how you do things. The one thing I've learned from these forums is that you can always learn something new from somebody else. That birchbark match holder is awesome.

I'm gonna do a shakedown at a local campground tomorrow and overnight. First thing on the agenda after setting up is taking a nap. Carver has shown the way.

I used to think that I really learned to hike from Colin Fletcher.

From now on I'm just saying I really learned to enjoy it from Carver.

    Thank you

I have really got a great summer coming up. The boys will be out of school soon so I have got to measure up and work on my cooking skills. Two of the lads are at home in the woods and one even wants to be a guide. Two are interested but not committed while another could care less. Re hydrated meals may have been a mistake last summer so that this is going to be a steak and bacon season.
