New WBBB and BMJ arrived today

Wow, that was very fast. Thanks, Brandon! I can't believe how light this tarp is and how small it packs up. The thing is HUGE but packs down to the size of a grapefruit! Glad I went with the Silnylon.

The hammock is great! It's the 1.1 DL. Big, roomy, comfy, and very easy to set up. It is, out of the box, exactly what I was trying to achieve with my modded Hammock Bliss no seeum and weighs less without all the extra bugnet to deal with.

The tarp, hammock and both stuff sacks combined weigh in at 2.55 pounds (40.8 oz) or 1.16 Kg for our metric friends according to my kitchen, err I mean gear scale My Hammock bliss no seeum hammock with cinch buckle/webbing suspension and HH large hex with stuff sacks come in at 3.64 pounds (1.65 Kg). My pack just got over a pound lighter.

Now I just need an underquilt.... and a top quilt, and lighter Ti cookset, and.....

"New WBBB and BMJ arrived today". Surely they didn't. There are no pictures to prove their existence.

Ha. True enough - pics or it don't exist! Great choices on the gear.

What a coincidence.... My new WBBB 1.1 single layer and Camo Superfly arrived today. It's raining this evening or I'd have the photo's to prove it too, Syb. LOL

Thank you, Brandon for the incredibly fast shipping on this. I'm planning a trip to Colorado later this month and this will be the basis of my gear.

Is there a more perfect time to set up a new tarp? I think not!

In all seriousness, congrats on the new WBBB!!!! Can't wait to get my hands on mine. Gonna spend the next couple of days trying to get the kinks ironed out. I may even take it out for a few days later in the week.

Congrats to you too. Imagine that: Three WBBBs all arriving on the same day. It's like Brandon gave birth to tripplets.

    What model did you get?
