    sealing ripstop

Now that I got the sewing machine running I plan on working on some Ripstop. I was wondering which sealant to use on the stuff I want to waterproof...Should I use the McNetts stuff? any opinion on which one of their products? I know Ripstop is not Sil but should I still use the product for Silnylon?

    Thanks!

Silnyl needs special treatment. Regular ripstop does not. There is the sticky thread about making your own sil if you want to waterproof the whole project. If you are just talking about seam sealing there are a plethora of products available that will work. I don't have a favorite brand so I can't be much help there.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

I've used McNett Seam Grip for years on my gear. It's good stuff.
