    hey Fullmoon
Are you from Shelby? I am also.
I was camping last weekend with the scouts in all that wind in my HH
My hammock did well but my sons had the rings on the fly torn off in the wind
I was also comfy sat night when the temps dropped to 27 with just a CC pad from wally world and a 0 degree bag
get in touch i would like to see your set up, i am still pretty much in the learning curve also

on the HH there is a plastic ring on all four points of the rain fly, 2 of them you attach to the prussic's and the other 2 are for the tie outs
1 of the tieouts ripped off and also 1 that that hooks the prussic
the wind was really bad here sat.
I could probablly have done a better job planning the location of his hammock.

ahh, OK. yeah, that wind can put any tarp to the test when it catches it like a sail.
i was home, but i still herd & saw the effects of those winds last week.
    & yeah, don't forget... location, location, location<G>.
