    Thanks for the warm welcome!

It's weird being a forum newbie again. Been a while.

Well... I ordered and received a HH UL Explorer. I hung in it for a couple of hours and decided I wasn't really fond of the bottom opening as I had originally thought. So... 4 more hours of research on HF and I pull the trigger on a WBBB Dbl 1.1 with Superfly. Ya... one extreme to the other. In my years I've learned to just spend the money and get what you want. If you don't like it you can usually recoup your costs and at least you know. Hennessy is being great about the one I bought and will allow me to return it. I might try it one more time but from all I've read, the WB hammocks are a dream. I'm so tired of restless 'sleep' in a tent.

We have a 15 day bike trip planned for August - Edmonton to Southern California and back. Hoping there are lots of trees around!

ScottD - great to see another Edmontonian on here. We'll have to chat sometime.

And the river has had exceptional flow rate all year. That paddle wheeler should be doing well.

Thank you again to all for your replies. Means a lot.
