I love my Light Hiker. I'm 6'1" and we won't worry about the weight. I don't have any issues. It's certainly not too short. I was also concerned about the length but don't have any complaints after using it both in the backyard and on the trail. If my friends' comments about my snoring is any indication I sleep very well.

Thanks for chiming in. If I decide to go single layer, then I'll probably go with the full size, since the website lists it as being lighter than the LH. Decisions, decisions. Not in any hurry though.
