I have a real aversion to skeeters. I won't camp in the summer without a bug net. I don't want to wake up with a huge swollen spot on my forehead (like I got in May - alergic rx). An aftermarket one like the ENO bugnet would be fine, I just worry about the kids stepping down into it or dropping something and tearing it. I also read that the ENO has about a 2" hole at each end where you have to put up a ridgeline to hang it.

Tarps are great, but you can get away with a big blue one in a pinch, especially if you're car camping (look at my gallery). I keep an ENO around with whoopies attached most of the time, so if the kids are at the park or wherever, I can sit or lie around and watch them.
