    Tall Hammock Folks

As you can see by my post count (this would be #2) I am new here. However, I have been reading this forum for several months (almost a year) don't ask me what took me so long to get on myself. I thought I would get most of my questions answered by just bouncing around the internet. Turns out I was wrong.

I am 6'7" and am very interested in the WBBB. However, the one thing I cannot find is somone my height that has a review on it, or for that matter anyone my height! I am only 215lbs, so weight is not the issue. I look forward to hearing from somone out in hammock world that can relate. I am currently a tent guy, but want to "elevate my perspective!" Thank you in advance for the help!

You have 5 inches on me and I have about 50 pounds on you. At 6ft 2 I find the the BB to be roomy.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

I think there are a couple of people 6'5 or so that use Blackbirds with out issue. I would suggest your contact Brandon at Warbonnet Outdoors to get the proper answer if you will fit in that hammock.

    Cheers

Thank you for the help. I have contacted Brandon he seems like a great guy and has about 25K references. I think I will give the WBBB a run and see what I think. I have never been off the ground in a camping hammock. The only hammock I have been in is a Pauly's Island rope hammock. I am looking forward to this!

    BigA,
Welcome to the group. Hammocker's Anonymous meetings are being arranged but we haven't actually decided anything is wrong yet! LOL

I honestly think you will enjoy the WBBB. And if for some bizarre reason you don't, the resale value is outstanding.

I have read of a few guys in the 6'7" and even a 6'8" guy using a BB. Never heard of any of them lot liking it. Welcome to the posting side.

My camping buddy is 6'5 and he has used the Grand Trunk but recently switched to the ENO Double Delux and seems to love it.

You will just need to get the bugnet and the rain fly (or DIY them) that goes with the ENO

    Welcome to the forum!
I use a Grand Trunk Skeeter Beeter Pro (I'm 6'5", 240lbs) and LOVE it!
Are there some things that I would like to change on it? Sure (only to be able to have a ridge line), but for the price - it's perfect for all my needs without breaking the bank!
Check out my YouTube channel for a video of it called 'My first hang'

    Take care and good luck!
But most of all - HAVE FUN (because it's awesome being off the ground)!!!!!
