Great video and pics. I was supposed to hang there a few weeks ago with my son, brother-in-law and two nephews but the threat of thunderstorms kept us away. It was nice to watch your video and wonder what if.....

Maybe next summer when I go back to visit family again.

Thank you cbp, the recipe is from 70theprofessor on youtube. I'm not sure if he does it in the linked video, but he has a series of vids for the mix and on some he says email him and he'll send you a pdf of his mix cookbook. I emailed him and he sent me the cookbook... very cool. I just reduced the batch by half and used whole wheat flour, and I used butter flavored crisco too.. turned out to be a tasty and versatile mix. I only brought a couple cups along in ziplock baggies for the trip.

Thanks for the great report and video. My wife and I were just down the beach in our Warbonnets. Nordhouse dunes is one of our favorite spots. The alewives die off does happen sporadically. I have found the best time is August, to avoid it. The sunsets were spectacular over the fourth.
