that makes getting in & out much easier, not to mention that you have a much better view of your surroundings.
i'm going to try one about 42" wide. i think i will still have plenty of wall.
Is that 11' long between the whipping?

that's 11' from one end of fabric to the other. the whipping allows it to start spreading about 2" from the end of the fabric. but then the corners are pulled out a little further.
so very little is lost at the ends... maybe 4-5".
I too will something make and joy in it's making

I like those pllows for a lot of uses. Keep some in the car/van also.

I tend to lose them (to friends, guests, acquaintances, etc) and decided that the BPL price was a little steep.

So I bought a case here.

$0.46 per pillow as opposed to the BPL price of $2.33 per pillow.

Now I can afford to give them away again
i like those pillows too... & i like the price of a case!!!
    i wouldn't mind going in half w/ someone & splitting a case of 50.

Just might have to make one that long and narrow. Would work well in the warmer months for views and when I didn't need a top cover.

I have been making mine 10' long so far, but think I will give the 11' a try. As to polyester Wal Mart carries some here so probably will at most stores that have a fabric section. Just bought so camo called prarie ghost that is poly heavey enought to make a hammock out of I think. May give it a try too. So many good ideas here....... so little time.
What I lack in knowledge I MORE than make up for with opinions.
