Video: A Stroll Along the Superior Hiking Trail

I try to get out every summer with my older two sons for some sort of extended outdoors adventure. The various hangs and shug's videos along the Superior Hiking Trail led us to pick that for this summer's excursion.

I invited some HF members who had hiked the SHT before (or expressed interest in it) to link up with us, both for the companionship and for the possibility of car shuttles. Beep (a.k.a. Bill) was a great help, suggesting a section of trail he particularly likes. He and JerryW joined us for the first couple of days. They headed home, and Fronkey and Mr. Green showed up for the last few days.

So this video is just sort of a travelog. I hadn't really intended to make a video, I wanted to spend the time enjoying the trek more than planning shots. But with JerryW's help with photos from the first section, the various clips I did shoot along the way, and a heavy use of voice-over, we've got a video.

Thanks to all our fellow adventurers---this was a great trip, enjoyed by the whole Clan Grizz.
