Hi Joel, Welcome to HF from over the pond.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you release, I like the vibe of the video and your stated ethics. You have come at the hammock product with a fresh approach which I like too.

    Good luck with your venture

As of now, we are not producing backpacks. We are focused on hammock camping, or as we call it, kammoking.

Welcome and hope that your products are competitive and successful.

Would you consider selling the fabric for the DIY crowd? Another source of income and not competitors. Most DIYers would rather make than buy anyway. So by selling them the fabric, at least you have a sale to them.

The fabric weight per square unit of area is important and as Grizz mentioned, the stretchiness of the fabric is important. Compare it to ripstop nylon and polyester (ripstop or plain). Even a subjective comparison would be good.

One does need to be careful about where one is caught sleeping...
