    Poncho Liner

Any one have a spare poncho liner they would be willing to sell? I was going to order one from sportsmans guide but they are on back order until 09/12/11 and would like to get to work on it sooner for an underquilt.

    Thanks!!

I think my local surplus store still has some, If I remember correctly they were about $18 (used) $30 (new), I have no idea what shipping would be, but I could pick one up and mail it to you...at cost.

Ebay has them cheaper, but My local store has them for $20 + tax, (figure $22). A medium-flat rate priority box is $11. That's $33 total.

I have one I could do without for a week. It's used but one of the better ones I found digging through the pile. (couple of small holes, clean, some stitching coming loose). I think it's missing a couple tie-outs, but I sew grosgrain loops to my PLUQ.

The quickest I could do is USPS pickup tomorrow, you'd have it Tuesday if you really need it that badly. PM me if you need it right away.

Thanks for the offers to pick it up...I would def go the ebay route to save you guys the time from going out and picking one up for me...but I remember people saying that there are different qualities of poncho liner...I always trust the "guide" but I am weary of Ebay and the quality I'll get. Do you have any recommendations on how to tell if the Ebay Poncho Liner is the right quality?

You would really be saving my wallet, b/c I would not walk out of there without something for myself

IIRC... some are made with insulex, which are going to be more expensive, and I think are hard to find. If I wanted insulex, I would just buy from http://www.diygearsupply.com or http://stores.tttrailgear.com.

opsgear.com sells poncho liners. I got mine from them during a discount sale (which they do pretty often) so I got free shipping. Since I got a few other things, it came out to about $20 for it. They are newer and seem to be a slightly different material but it is just as warm in my opinion. I think they are doing a sale again this month if you want to take a look.

Edit: Since it can be a pain to find, its under FIELD GEAR and then FLEECE JACKET. Dont know why they put it there but whatever. They have OD and black in stock. Everything else is on backorder but I dont know for how long.

As a bonus I just saw they are selling two hammocks. Some off brand and a skeeter beeter pro. Even they can see the benefits to hammocks and being in stealthy colors
