    2Questions- Thanks for converting me!!

    Greetings everyone.

I have been hiking with 2Questons and several other "hammock hangers" over the course of the last several years. Being a ground dweller I often scoffed at the whole hammock thing...Then he loaned me his backup hammock for me to use on a long weekend family car camp-has the world turned. No more lumpy ground or AT shelters for me! I am could not believe how well I rested those three nights. He has been a great source of encouragement and information! Now I am on the hunt for a new rig...looks like a left sided footbox BB with the superfly tarp is the rig for me. Emailed Brandon today and got a really quick response!

    Thanks 2Questions!!

I am new to Hammock Forums...really cool community. Similar in vibe to Whiteblaze...passionate people doing what they love.

    See you on the trail!

    Welcome!

Are hammock campers pretty prominent on at AT? I haven't had the chance to go myself yet, but hope to soon.

There are quite a few hikers choosing hammocks to thru hike with over tenting. Several palces to hang, hang in shelters if you don't have to share, and just a little heavier than just using a tarp/tyvek system to sleep on the ground. Many pluses to hammock on the AT.

That 2Q is responsible for all sorts of terrible things: great modifications, incredible customer service and being organized beyond belief. Glad his hammockness rubbed off and welcome to HF.
