Hmm... we'll be dropping a daughter off at Eagles Nest Camp near there, so we will have to see if we can arrange to stop by on Saturday.

It'll be nice to be back up in the cool piney woods of Pisgah after spending the last 3 days at lake Keowee and 95*+ heat and 150% humidity! Yeah, we were baking like a toasted cheeser down there!

Last years John Rock hang was great, looking forward to seeing everyone again.

DUDE! I would love to make this trip but I am on strict no camping restriction for quite a while because we just had a baby - yesterday! Keep me in mind for the next one though. I hope to be on a modified restriction by November (must take both older children when I go).

Thanks for the invite guys. I will try to make it to this one, as long as I don't get mandated to work. Looks like a great spot to hang. I hiked the John's Rock loop 7 or 8 yrs. ago and remember a nice pine forest right at the first part of the trail.
