Wow Hooch, that's rough! I don't know who's got it harder, you or your boy. As a parent it's tough to go through that kind of thing, seeing your kid hurt and all.
We'll keep you guys in our prayers and be looking for a quick recovery. Keep us informed on his progress.

Hootch - I hope all is well and he heals up fast.

On a related note - after taking a 4 day trip to Mt. Rogers last week and then leaving for Seattle on Business monday am I am afraid that my wife will break at least two bones in my arm if I try and make the John's Rock hang. Hopefully we can get another one going this fall in the area. Have fun and count me in next year!

my neighbor Paul is a recent convert and was excited to hear about the hang. He and I both serve on our district advancement committee. He is also anxious for a non-scout outing. I also ran into a very interested person at summer camp, but havent heard back from her. OOps! wer'e doing to Dolly Sods. my bad!

Pseudo car camping always makes it difficult to decide. At least with an 8 mile hike to camp it's easier to decide what you DON'T want to carry. having a car .8 miles away usually leaves me with a hodge podge thrown in the car and then packed on-site.
