What benefit do I get from #3 that I don't get from #1? Easier side entry? Netting doesn't get in the way when used as a chair?

mod # 3 has a double tab zipper easier to zip or unzip beacause the two meet in the middle.neo

But you have to reach way past your toes to get to the foot end zipper from the inside. Seems #1 would be easier to zip up from the inside than #3.

Actually, I don't have either. I'm trying to decide which mod to order. So, I'm wondering what benefit #3 has over #1. I see the benefits of #2, but #3 has me confused.

If you "Roll" into your hammock, it's a lot easier if one whole side is unzipped. Yes, you have to reach down to your feet to zip up, but it does make entry easier. Also, if you can unzip one whole side, you can flip the bugnetting over your ridgeline for open air access.

I have a Mod #2 (Right side full zippered) on one of my HH's and find that I only have to unzip it about 6" past the tieout point to side enter. I agree about trying to reach the zipper pull if unzipped all the way to the footend, but I don't need to. Actually, I don't unzip the 1/2 zip on the other side either....with no problems. IMHO the mod #2 offers the most benefits...i.e. access left and right, variable ventilation options, bugnet stowage when unzipped fully....and I think its cool looking!! He He!

Yeah, if I was going to do the mod, that (#2) would be the one I would go with. It almost makes me wish I had kept my HH, now that someone is doing such great mods to them. I just couldn't stand the birthing canal feeling.
