Any way of saving a whoopie with lost bury?

Yep....I did it, this is the second time, but this time I didn't catch it before it was too late.

Is there anything I can do fairly quickly as I'm heading out Thursday for a 3 day hang weekend with my son and mother?

Pictures and/or video links are great help for me.

By the way, I do not know how to splice yet, but I do have a small crochet needle....if that helps at all?

If I can save it some way without distroying my sling, I'm putting something on there so that this doesn't happen again. I've already carefully stuck a small key ring on the other one.

There is the instructions on splicing. It is really not that hard if you take your time. Hope that helps. Post questions.

Carefully and patiently tease out the inside strands of where the bury has dissappeaerd inside itself. I use my fingernails so I don't damage the fibres.

Grab onto the innermost, deepest fibre you can get hold of and 'reverse milk' it out, repeating until you have once again made whoopie

It takes a while and moves about 1mm every time. I pulled 2" out in 30 mins last time.

Nope.....I just put yours on my son's hammock.....then, later, turned around and took one of his back out, to put on mine. He'll have to live with one whoopie until I figure out what I'm going to do about my one that I ruined. So his early birthday gift is a bit tainted right now because of my stupidity. Your slings are absolutely great!! Thank God for the bead! Love them, love them, love them. Thank you so much for your generosity in your offer, but I am stuck with my own mistake.

I was trying to set them all up for this weekends trip, put poncho liner uq on, add the hammock socks and blah, blah, blah, so that when we get to our spot it would be an easy set up. The short version is; we raise teacup poodles....they got me tangled in an end, (a lot of swearing here), I tripped, and poof it was gone, (then even more swearing at this point). I shouldn't have had them all out playing while I was playing with cord.

Any chance you could just come to the house and fix?? Just kidding.

EDIT: Rats! I narrowly missed the last pick up at 6:30. Time was not on my side. Well, you can't blame a lymphocytosis for trying.

can I use a knit needle to go down in there and slowing try to easy things back out? Using my finger nails aren't gaining much at all.

Never mind, knit needle doesn't fit.

You're being punished for swearing in front of teacup poodles. That is just wrong.

I live close to you (out off of Flint Ridge Rd). If you need a whoopie sling for a short time - I have extras I have made. Let me know & maybe we can get you set up. Also sending you a PM.
